These simple words express the deep thought that originates Japanese ceramics and the special process of RAKU creations.

The art of Japanese ceramics has an irresistible creative
dimension: the combination of a millenary traditions which is reflected in cultural consciousness and passion for nature.

Raku ceramics is a work on nature: the artist must become one with the matter, have its rhythms and try to interpret its spirit. This creative process is combined with the four elements of the universe - earth, water, air and fire - which take formby means of the artist.

Working with the earth and the use of fire symbolize intimate becoming. It requires the whole strength of nature.
